Good ER News

Good news for a change. The doc got 15 eggs from my old, decrepit body. Eveyone seemed surprised, but I was cautioned that some of the eggs could be immature. If an egg is immature, then it can not be fertilized. The embryologist can not ascertain the maturity of the eggs until the protective coating is removed for the ICSI (injected a sperm into the egg).

I had the prep nurse and anasthesiologist both asking me "how many times have you done this?" I felt like they were disapproving and I am a desperate 43 yr old with a 5% chance that is throwing money down the toilet.
